Private Home

Lincolnshire

This private home in Lincolnshire has been designed using contemporary styling and materials, combined with the use of local stone.

The house has been designed to be open plan to maximise the flow between the spaces whilst maintaining strong connectivity with the landscapes at all times. The main living space consists of a sunken lounge space, kitchen/dining area with steps down to a day area. These subtle changes in levels create a formal zoning of spaces without physically separating them with walls. It also allows for unobstructed views of the gardens from all social areas.

The elevations have been designed to follow a modern aesthetic using traditional materials. Large windows, sliding glazed screens are utilised to maximise the views to the landscaping.

The main entrance takes you into the heart of the building from which all areas are easily accessible. Secondary entrances are located adjacent to the study and utility space for ease of access to the externals. The first floor contains the 2 main bedrooms, connected via a glass circulation link. These rooms open out onto terraces overlooking the rear of the property.
